The week flew by and we are sad to see our campers go! We had a blast getting to know each of them and watching them learn new skills and making new lasting friendships. Thanks for joining us and we hope to see you guys all again next summer! Here are a couple of nuggets about each camper that we’d like to share:
Sam:
We appreciate your witty sense of humor and your candid remarks and observations kept us in stitches! We wish we had a tape recorder so we could remember all of the funny things that came out of your mouth.
Rachel:
You’re a talented climber and you always kept things light and fun. We’ve never seen anyone else fly through books like you did and really enjoyed learning about your awesome baking with fondant skills. That rock climbing cake looked amazing!
Spencer:
You started out the strong silent type but really loosened up by the end of the week. Thanks for the tunes at the crag and being the friendly, cool guy that you are .
Emily:
Your energy is infectious and your smile really shines. You took climbing flair to a whole other level. We hope that climbing continues to bring you joy and many new adventures to come.
Brin:
You are a rock star! It’s been awesome watching you progress as a climber over the last couple of years. You move over the rock like a pro and it’s awesome to see you crushing routes that weren’t as easy for you a year ago. Keep crushing!
Julia:
Our zen gardener and friend to all creatures big and small! You have great determination on the rock and a mind for the technical skills. You picked up gear placements so fast and can high step like nobody’s business!
Caroline:
You were a huge help to everyone, always eager to volunteer to belay or lend a hand whenever needed without complaint. Your climbing has improved so much since we first climbed with you a couple of years ago and we’re proud of the progress you’ve made from camper to Junior Counselor. Continue to lead by example and with a compassionate heart.
Conner:
It is obvious that you love rock climbing so much and your hand jamming “gobies” prove it. You were always stepping up to lend a hand when called upon and we thank you for that. We hope you got enough climbing in this week, although I think if your fingers were bleeding (and at times they were!) we’d still have to pry you away kicking and screaming!

What a great experience for Julia. Thanks for the wrap-up pics and blog. Thanks so much to Bonnie, Jeff and Elaina. What a well-run camp. Julia learned a lot and had so much fun. We’ll probably be seeing you next year! Hip Hip Hurray!
